This is a broad ranging project (previously known as realXtend-NG) to re-imagine and re-evaluate the realXtend Architecture to ensure that it will fulfil its mission of one day possibly becoming a standard 3D Internet computing platform.

The project consists of two centrepieces: 3D virtual world viewer, codename Naali; and an integrated suite of virtual world servers, codenamed Taiga.
